Meet
Zazula™. What a helpful monkey! Originally from South America, Zazula now
lives in the U.S., helping a disabled person with chores. Little Zazula keeps
busy, bringing food, scratching an itch, and helping with other tasks her
disabled human friend can’t do alone.
Zazula and other capuchins like her make every day brighter for disabled people.
As they say in Spain, "True friends are proven by their deeds."
Zazula is a brown capuchin monkey. Capuchins are best known for their
intelligence and friendliness. That’s why Helping Hands chose capuchins to
help quadriplegics with their daily activities.
Capuchins are skilled with their hands -- and even their tail! In fact, these
primates steady themselves with their tail as they walk.
Capuchins inhabit the tropical forests of Central and South America. Now they
inhabit the hearts of those they help.
