The Spinning Mirror is a unique primate enrichment device designed to provide an engaging self-recognition experience. The Spinning Mirror consists of a rotating four-sided polycarbonate mirror mounted inside a heavy-duty polyethylene case. The mirror spins on a stainless-steel rod. The moving mirrors create a variety of reflective images. The Spinning Mirror sparks natural curiosity and the desire to explore surroundings. The Spinning Mirror is an effective habitat enrichment device that appeals to all types of monkeys and apes including tamarins, capuchins, marmosets, macaques, langurs, orangutans, gibbons, and chimpanzees. The Spinning Mirror fits into our "Universal PES Bracket" which is mounted to the side of caging. The bracket makes it easy to insert a variety of enrichment products, like the Activity Panel and Beaded Curtain. The PES system is designed for animal enrichment for animal transportation, laboratory settings, veterinary enclosures, and zoo habitats. All PES components are autoclavable making it easy to maintain hygiene and IACUC standards in laboratory settings.
