ZuPreem Marmoset Diet Canned is formulated to be a nutritionally complete diet when a source of Vitamin C is provided. Designed to be fed as the primary diet for marmosets and tamarins, this remarkable diet was developed many years ago when it was discovered that some New World primates could not convert Vitamin D2 (widely used in animal nutrition) to D3. After intensive research, nutritional experts at ZuPreem produced a diet with a perfect blend of ingredients that included adequate levels of Vitamin D3, other important nutrients, and an appealing aroma and palatability. Ever since this diet has been an integral part of marmoset and tamarin husbandry.

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS: A supplemental diet source of Vitamin C, such as ½ to 1 orange per week per animal, must be fed in addition to this diet. Feed this diet-free choice to non-obese-prone animals. Most Marmosets will eat 1-2 ounces of food daily. Food consumption may vary between animals. Not for human consumption.
INGREDIENTS: water, cracked wheat, soybean meal, sugar, dried egg product, vegetable oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols), brewers rice, tricalcium phosphate, dried alfalfa meal, salt, vitamins (vitamin e supplement, niacin, calcium pantothenate, vitamin a supplement, biotin, riboflavin, vitamin d3 supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, thiamine mononitrate, vitamin b12 supplement, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (a source of vitamin k)), vitamin d3 supplement, choline chloride, minerals (zinc oxide, copper sulfate, manganous oxide, sodium selenite, calcium iodate), rosemary extract.
GUARANTEED ANALYSIS: crude protein (min) 8.5%, crude fat (min) 2.5%, crude fiber (max) 1.5%, moisture (max) 62.0%, ash (max) 3.0%, calcium (min) 0.2%, phosphorus (min) 0.2%, vitamin D3 (min) 1814 IU/kg.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Unopened cans should be stored in a cool, dry place. Opened, cover airtight, and store in a refrigerator (up to 7 days). Serve at room temperature.
